Degayo Coffee House

A fourth-generation coffee brand reimagined for today’s café culture. We worked with Degayo Coffee House to refresh their identity, unify their story, and create a visual language that feels warm, modern, and distinctly “Degayo”.

Overview

Previously operating under an older brand name, Degayo Coffee House needed a refreshed identity that could grow with their retail ambitions and tell a clearer story about their origin from Gayo Highlands, Indonesia.

Our Roles

End-to-end brand identity for a coffee house:

  • Logo & visual identity system
  • Color palette & typography selection
  • Packaging & in-store applications
  • Brand collateral & 3D mockups
  • Brand usage & application guidelines

Goals

  • Elevate the aesthetic of the brand for a café-focused audience.
  • Align the brand story with their farm-to-cup heritage.
  • Create a flexible system for future outlets and packaging lines.

Logo Lockup & Color Palette

Setting the visual foundation.

We built Degayo’s identity from the brand foundations: logomark, wordmark, color system, and supporting elements. The visual direction balances earthy warmth with a structured, contemporary grid — mirroring the craft and precision behind every cup.

Logo Construction
Color & Typography

From farm to cup, visually.

To express Degayo’s story, we developed a set of supporting illustrations and brand scenes that map the journey from tree to cup. These assets bring warmth into the brand and help educate customers across menus, wall graphics, and social content.

Café Experience

Retail-ready coffee packaging.

For their in-house beans and retail products, we designed a packaging system that’s bold on shelf yet consistent with the café’s interior language. Each blend has clear hierarchy for name, tasting notes, and origin — making it easier for customers to choose their coffee.

Coffee Bags / Labels
On-Shelf Mockups

A system built to scale.

The brand usage guidelines capture logo rules, color proportions, type hierarchy, photography style, and layout templates. This ensures the Degayo team — and future partners — can keep the brand consistent across new outlets, campaigns, and collaborations.
